Hi my name is Sosefina on my speech mark quiz I got 10/10. It was pretty hard but I got 10/10 while I was doing my speech mark quiz I read each sentence and I just went what my brain what was the positive  answer.

My class and I went to line up to go weeding with St Kentigern school . 

 

when we got there this teacher told us to go weeding were the fruit tree is then this boy called sam helped us to weed the drit out. 

while the girls were weeding with Sam the boys were pulling the dirt out with the teacher's and parent's then it started to spit then we went under the shelter.  Miss Petersen said "room 10  were going back to class now."

today room 10 had to go the hall there was a lady her name was louise she told us to not sit on transformers not like the real one but the green thing it says that it is Danger.

Prototec Basic Facts Maths

Today room 10 Done there Prototec test  I got 35 out of 40.and i was on stage 4 it was hard but i tried my best and i'm a year 5







 

Howick hostorical village

On Monday Glen Innes school went to the howick Historical village on a bus when we got their we saw Three lady's saying " Hello and " Good Morning then when we walked in we had our morning Tea on the Bench after our Morning Tea we went in our lines one of the lady's there they put us in groups of five our group went to school it was fun and funny because the lady was  pretending to wack us with the stick. after that we done some spelling , writing , Maths my favorite one was the Maths because in know my time tables , multiplication and subtraction after we done some Maths we went on to Writing we had to read out this poem then after we had all read it we had to write our name with our left hand but if you don't you will  get a smake with the stick. after we finish with the school thing we went over to make butter We each got a turn turning it but we had to count up to 30 Seconds but what the lady said that if you sing the butter song. it will work faster and it will get harder then after we made butter we went to explore the Houses after we explored we went back to go line up waiting for room 12 then after they finally came we went in the bus and went back to school. 

Bearing

today we learnt about  bearing. bearing is a distance from north taken as a clockwise direction.

Netball

Last Week on Wednesday Room 10 was getting ready to go line up for netball after lunch.

after we line up we walked to the netball court in two lines.the two girls who was waiting for us they told us their names it was Antonia and Olivia.they were netball experts the first skills they told us was over head,Shoulder past and bounce.Antonia  told us to get into pairs of two we played a game called River and Bank Antonia told us how to play if you're out you have to stand on the side with Miss Petersen.Then when Everyones out but not the Winner we play another game. Then after the game we line up and say " bye thanks then we walk to class.

What were learning

Today we were learning about ml and liters first it was hard for me to do but when my teacher helped me it got easy to do.

3 - D shapes

This Term we are learning to do 3 - D shapes. Yesterday we done 3 - D shapes using nets.
 I Created a Cube. I found that cubes has six Faces , Twelve Edges and Eight corners.

On our last day  with Kyle It was fun that she showed us some skills  with the racquet and the Shuttlecock.  We also learned to do surf , Back Hand, fore Hand , frying pan ,was so hard to do.Kyle said go on the blue line and put out your left leg out. and server and see how far  your shuttlecock go then my went by Kyle she picked It up then gave it to me then I went back to the blue and stared again then Kyle said go find a partner to server to But I Played by myself It was Fun I done about 20 or 10 then after that she told use to go sit on the yellow line and she told some people to go pick up the racquet and the shuttlecock  then we said thank you for teaching us to do skills then we went back to class.
